Likely mid-20th century (1950s-60s) style cat-eye or upswept women\'s frame. The ornate design and the specific patent marking correlate with vintage Tura eyewear lines.
Condition: Good used condition. Slight plating wear on temples, minor scuffs on the metal, hinges intact, lenses may be original or replaced — Lenses are included but should be replaced.
Measurements: lens width 45 mm • bridge width 23 mm • temple length 113 mm • frame width 133mm
Key Features:
• Gold-tone metal with decorative leaf/filigree detailing on the temples.
• Marked on the inside of the temple: the patent information
• Made by Tura Inc., founded in 1938, known for fashion-forward frames.
These are stylish and unique — a real vintage find with ornate design touches that stand out from more generic frames. If you like statement eyewear with mid-century flair, these deliver. They can be used as is (with lenses replaced if needed) or collected as an architectural / design piece.
Usage / Notes:
• Recommend getting the lenses replaced if your prescription requires it.
• Gold-tone plating shows minor wear & scratches consistent with age
• These are vintage — so slight signs of age are expected, but they remain very wearable and collectible.
