The Ace | 1940s Vintage Fedora in Beaver Felt – Agnoulita Hats。This is definitely an elegant looking hat made of yellow furry felt. The crown is medium height and flat on top. The brim is also medium width and is upturned at the edges. A caramel colored veil covers the crown and gathers at the back. At this point there is a spray of coordinating color feathers that rise above and curl downwards. There is also a gray velour \"flower\" with leaves attached to the back where the feathers rise. In side circumference measures 22\", which is the most common hat size of this era. What a beautiful look! The wartime 40’s saw a huge variety of hats that were suitable for any face shape, hairstyle or personal preference. Throughout the war & on both sides of the Atlantic, elaborate creations brightened dreary utility fashions, brought about by rationing. The only items not rationed were hat materials. Explosions of feathers, veiling & artificial flowers were popular. There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation. Please keep in mind that you are buying a vintage hat, not new nor perfect! This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years.
